Zain F. Merchant, Esq.

Mr. Merchant is a graduate of James Madison College at Michigan State University. Following his undergraduate studies he began law school at Michigan State University College of Law. During his tenure at law school, he clerked for the Honorable Cynthia S. Platzer of the 72nd District Court.

Prior to graduation, he studied International Law and Arbitration in Greece and London through the University Of Miami-School of Law. While in London, he studied under professors from both UCL-University College London and Oxford University.

Upon graduation, he clerked with the firm Walzak, Bales, Lepley & Rubin. Thereafter, he joined the Law Offices of Ricky Malik in Metropolitan Washington, D.C.

Mr. Merchant is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and serves as a legal consultant to various law firms in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area as well as around the country. Mr. Merchant has extensive experience in the field of Immigration law and has had great success in the areas of investment, detained/asylum, & employment-based immigration. He has also made many successful appearances before various immigration courts in the United States.
